End of November, here comes Christmas!
That Christmasy feeling
I have seen some houses around that already have their Christmas trees, flashing lights and decorations up in and around the area where I work. To me, this seems to be a little bit premature. However, with December 1st fast approaching this Tuesday, it is our intention to locate our Christmas Tree and decorations in the loft and bring them all down ready to put up soon.
Lisa, Mark and I went into the centre of Birmingham to see the Christmas Market. And it did do the job of creating a winter wonderland with all the little wooden sheds and glowing lights.
Birmingham was a very popular place to be this weekend. I am not sure if this was entirely due to the Christmas Market, but the place was packed with people. Many times, whilst walking, everyone came to a complete standstill as there were too many people wanting to a the same way that a bottleneck effect was created with people walking towards and away from the festivities, particularly where the streets narrowed or there were corners! Still, it was very enjoyable and has put me in a Christmasy mood now!
